Insolvency Service urges claims on scrapped £90 DRO fee
The Insolvency Service is refunding people who paid the £90 debt relief order application fee but never submitted their application. About £450,000 remains unclaimed, with customers urged to apply before the end of the year.
Affected customers have been contacted repeatedly since November 2025, with refunds covering claims going back 10 years. The agency aims to return as much money as possible during 2026, acknowledging contact details may be outdated.
