Norfolk housebuilder Bayfield Homes wound up over unpaid debts
Bayfield Homes Ltd, a housebuilder based in Stody near Holt, was wound up by the High Court on 9 September. The winding-up order followed a petition from Norwich chartered surveyors Hainstone Group Ltd, a creditor.
Hainstone said the petition, filed on 8 July, followed longstanding unpaid debts for professional services across several projects, pursued after repeated unfulfilled assurances of payment. A separate winding-up petition had been filed against Bayfield Homes in November last year by Lowestoft-based AGL Scaffolding Limited, also a creditor.
Bayfield Homes was founded by Jamieson Bird in 2022. An office-holder is expected to be appointed to handle the formal insolvency process.
