Ambulance and events medical firm Medicare EMS falls into administration
Medicare EMS, a UK provider of pre-hospital care and event medical support that also assists the NHS, has entered administration. The company, which operates from Chelmsford, Coventry and Hartlepool, had only recently expanded through two acquisitions.
Dominik Thiel-Czerwinke and Louise Donna Baxter of BTG Begbies Traynor were appointed joint administrators on 16 September, according to The Gazette.
The move follows Medicare EMS's acquisition of UK Event Medical Services and Elite EMS in March, which the company had described as a step towards building a stronger, more versatile organisation. No details on jobs or next steps for the business have been given.
