Nottingham catering supplier Walker Catering Supplies enters liquidation
Walker Catering Supplies, a Nottingham-based catering equipment distributor trading since 1990, has entered creditors' voluntary liquidation. Nicholas Simmonds and Chris Newell of Quantum Advisory were appointed joint liquidators after shareholders backed winding-up on 28 September 2026.
The move follows a winding-up petition lodged at the High Court in late July by fabrication supplier CED, listed as a creditor, with a hearing scheduled for 16 September. Walker had been acquired by NCE Group three years ago, then transferred to Hygiacura after a May 2026 sale, with director changes and a registered office move to Birmingham preceding the collapse.
Its latest accounts, to 30 April 2025, showed total assets of £1.5m and net assets of £346,000.
