Mellon Country Inn owner enters liquidation, hotel to be marketed

Gary Bonner, director of restructuring and insolvency at McKeague Morgan, will oversee the sale of the company's assets, aiming to maximise value for creditors through an orderly process. The firm reports considerable early interest, with hospitality operators and developers both seen as potential buyers given the site's location, scale and heritage.

The three-star family-run hotel, near the Ulster American Folk Park, has long hosted weddings, concerts and community events. The property is expected to go on the open market from the end of September.
