Claire's UK administrations could cost £7m in fees, creditors face £22.5m shortfall

Interpath sold most of the business to Modella Capital in September 2025, covering 156 stores and preserving 1,000 jobs, but the rescued operation, CAUKI Limited, fell into administration on 26 January 2026 under Kroll, which has incurred £2.2 million in unpaid fees. Unsecured claims total £11.9 million and £10.6 million respectively across the two processes.

By April, remaining standalone stores had closed, with around 1,300 redundancies.
