Medmerry Holiday Park in Chichester to shut for good after administration
Medmerry Holiday Park near Chichester will not reopen after operator Cove Communities Venture 2 Medmerry OpCo Limited entered administration. The site had been closed since flooding forced the evacuation of 180 guests in April 2024.
Redevelopment plans for 308 luxury lodges were withdrawn in June 2026. Other Cove Communities parks, including Argyll's eight Scottish sites, Gwel an Mor and Solway Holiday Park, remain trading through administration.
The future of the Earnley site remains unconfirmed.
