HMRC winding-up petition against Norfolk estate agent dismissed

Managing director Chris Starkings said the matter was now formally concluded, with no outstanding costs, and that the business remained open, continuing to trade across Norfolk and Suffolk.

The ruling follows Norwich agency Pymm & Co's acquisition of Starkings & Watson's separate lettings business, S&W Lettings Ltd, as part of a £1m investment. A previous company linked to Starkings, SWEA Ltd, was wound up by the High Court in October 2024.
