Pet supplies retailer Funnyfuzzy wound up over £6.3m unexplained payments

Investigators found no trace of the company at its registered London address, and it refused to cooperate, claiming to operate outside the UK despite selling to UK customers. Customers had complained of undelivered or poor-quality goods and unrefunded orders.

The company, incorporated in July 2023, traded via funnyfuzzy.co.uk. Its predecessor, Funnyfuzzy UK Co., Ltd, was wound up in 2024 for similar conduct. The company was wound up in the public interest under section 124A of the Insolvency Act 1986; the Official Receiver now handles enquiries.
