HMRC seeks winding-up order against Milford Haven patent agents
HMRC has petitioned the High Court to wind up Freedom Online, a Milford Haven-based patent and copyright agents, over unpaid tax. The petition was published in the London Gazette on 11 September, following an August hearing.
If granted, the winding-up order would place the company into compulsory liquidation, with a liquidator appointed to realise assets and pay creditors. A judge will decide the matter at a hearing at the High Court in London on 23 September.
The amount and type of tax owed have not been disclosed. Anyone wishing to support or oppose the petition must notify HMRC's solicitors by 4pm on 22 September.
