Online wine merchant Novel Wines closes after decade of trading
Novel Wines, a Bath-based online retailer specialising in bottles from craft winemakers abroad, has ceased trading after more than 10 years. Richard Cole and Stephen Kenny of KBL Advisory Limited were appointed joint administrators on 18 September.
The company had described itself as the UK's leading independent retailer of undiscovered wines, sourcing stock from countries including Hungary, Croatia and India. It closed its Bath shop in 2024 to concentrate on wholesale and online sales.
Its website now shows only a holding page, and staff previously contactable via the firm's email address have since left the company.
