Net zero housebuilder Pearcroft Homes wound up after two-year legal process
Pearcroft Homes, a company promoting itself as the UK's leading net zero housing developer, has entered compulsory liquidation. The move follows a winding-up petition submitted by plumbing and heating supplier Wolseley UK back in April 2023.
A High Court winding-up order was made in October 2023 by District Judge Mantle, though liquidators were only appointed on 8 September this year. The Bradford-based company, established in 2022, had marketed carbon-neutral luxury homes but had not posted on social media since August 2023.
Paraskevi Iacovou and Peter Kubik of UHY Hacker Young LLP have been appointed liquidators. Creditors who have not yet submitted proofs of debt have been asked to contact the liquidators.
