Torsion Projects Limited – Administration: Leeds care home builder Torsion Projects enters administration, 54 staff made redundant

By: Peterborough Matters30 Oct 2026
Torsion Projects Limited, a Leeds-based contractor specialising in care home schemes, has ceased trading after entering administration. All 54 employees have been made redundant, and James Clark and Rick Harrison of Interpath have been appointed joint administrators.

Latest status: Torsion Projects Limited – Administration (19 Oct 2026)

The company, incorporated in 2015, was part of the wider Torsion Group. Administrators cite a prolonged cashflow squeeze following the termination of multiple contracts, which left it unable to meet its costs. Directors' efforts to secure fresh investment failed, and all sites were handed back to developers or funders before the appointment.

Administrators were appointed in July to sister company Torsion Construction Limited. Torsion Developments Limited and Torsion Care Limited are not in administration.
