Amber Beverage Uk Limited – Administration: Drinks distributor ABG UK ceases trading in BDO administration, 27 jobs hit

The company supplied branded drinks to major supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Co-op. Formerly Cellar Trends, it was bought in 2018 by Luxembourg-based Amber Beverage Group.

BDO says efforts to sell it as a going concern before the appointment proved unsuccessful. Most of the 27 employees were made redundant with immediate effect, while a small number remain temporarily to assist the administration.
