Glens of Antrim Potatoes collapses into administration, 95 jobs lost
Glens of Antrim Potatoes Ltd, based in Ballymena and Cushendall, has entered administration after rising input costs hit cashflow. The 95-strong workforce has been made redundant bar a skeleton staff.
Stuart Irwin, Ian Leonard and Robin Coughlin of Interpath were appointed joint administrators after directors found no solvent refinancing or investment options. The company, founded in 1972, has ceased trading.
Interpath's employment team is supporting affected staff.
