Strathmore Hotels group falls into administration, eight sites at risk
Strathmore Hotels Ltd, the East Kilbride-based owner of Scotland's oldest hotel, the Salutation in Perth, entered administration in August after months of creditor pressure. Joint administrators from Interpath were appointed.
The family-run group runs eight hotels across Scotland and northern England, including the Ben Nevis Hotel, the Alexandra in Fort William, the Ben Wyvis, and the Cumbria Grand.
No closures have been confirmed, but all sites are considered at risk.
