Dunbar housebuilder Salo Property Services falls into administration
Salo Property Services Limited, a Dunbar-based Scottish house-building company, has entered administration with BDO's Lee Causer and James Stephen appointed as joint administrators. The company had no employees and its sole asset is a part-complete three-house development, which is being marketed for sale.
Incorporated in July 2020, Salo operated as a single-site development vehicle rather than a diversified housebuilder. The administrators, appointed on 3 August 2026, plan to sell the part-built scheme, with an October target for bringing the homes to market.
Wider reporting has linked the case to other small Scottish housebuilding entities facing difficulties, though no confirmed corporate connection to Salo has been established. Interested buyers are advised to contact BDO for site and planning details.
