Corporate events firm behind Hill House wound up over tax debts
Elsewhere (UK) Limited, the corporate events company behind Hill House in Saxlingham Nethergate, Norfolk, has been wound up by the High Court following a petition from HMRC over tax debts. The compulsory liquidation order was made on 1 July.
The petition was presented on 19 November last year, and the Official Receiver has been appointed to handle the insolvency. The company, run by Darren Anthony Swayne, had faced a planning dispute over noise from events at the Grade II-listed manor before winning an appeal in October 2024.
Hill House is now on the market for £2 million through Christie & Co.
