Avison Young must foot £9m Coventry bill after Buckingham Group collapse
Property firm Avison Young has lost a High Court dispute over a Coventry development scheme. The ruling leaves it liable for the full £9m bill, after contractor Buckingham Group became insolvent.
Buckingham Group's insolvency meant it could not share liability for the sum, leaving Avison Young to cover the entire amount itself.
