Money Wellness wants UK insolvency register kept private for victims of abuse

Previously, the cost threshold for a PARV order was scrapped, allowing victims to have their address withheld. Money Wellness believes this is not enough: people are still required to prove their abuse through a court process in order to prevent publication.

The call is backed by MPs, support organisations and Nationwide. According to the organisation, automatic protection would better safeguard victims without the need for a court procedure.
