Winding-up petition WARTHILL LIMITED LIABILITY PARTNERSHIP

On 26 February 2026, a petition was presented to Aberdeen Sheriff Court on behalf of Hugh Thomson and Howard Rutter, as Executors of the Estate of Joan Wilson, both c/of Flint Biship LLP, 2 The Embankment, Sovereign Street, Leeds, LS14BA, creditors of Warthill LLP, craving the Court that Warthill LLP (SO305232), incorporated under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000 and having its registered office at Warthill House, Meikle Wartle, Near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, AB51 5BJ, be wound up by the Court and an interim liquidator be appointed; in which Petition, by interlocutor of 27 February 2026, the Court appointed all parties having an interest to lodge answers within 8 days after intimation, advertisement and service, and in the meantime appointed Kevin Mapstone of Begbies Traynor (Scotland) LLP, at Ground Floor, East Suite, Exchange Place, 3 Semple Street, Edinburgh, EH3 8BL and Julian Pitts of Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP, at Floor 2, 10 Wellington Place, Leeds LS1 4AP to be joint provisional liquidators of the said LLP and authorises them to exercise the powers contained in paragraphs 4 and 5 of Part II of Schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986.
