Winding-up petition WADDELL HAULAGE LIMITED

Notice is hereby given that on 9 March 2026 a petition was presented to Hamilton Sheriff Court by United Trust Bank Limited, a company having a place of business at 1 Ropemaker Street, London EC2Y 9AW, craving the Court inter alia to order Waddell Haulage Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts (with company number SC585590) and having its registered office at 191 Station Road, Shotts, United Kingdom, ML7 4BA (“the Company”), be wound up by the Court and that Claire Middlebrook and Scott Bastick, Insolvency Practitioners, both of Middlebrooks Business Recovery & Advice, 14-18 Hill Street, Edinburgh EH2 3JZ be appointed as joint interim liquidators; and in which petition the Sheriff by interlocutor dated 11 March 2026 ordained the Company and any other persons interested, if they intend to show cause why the prayer of the petition should not be granted, to lodge Answers in the hands of the Sheriff Clerk at Hamilton within eight days after intimation, service and advertisement; and in the meantime appointed the said Claire Middlebrook and Scott Bastick to be joint provisional liquidators of the Company and authorised them to exercise the powers in Parts I, II and III of Schedule 4 to the Insolvency Act 1986, and in particular to exercise the power contained in paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 to the said Act; all of which Notice is hereby given.
