NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 100 of the Insolvency Act 1986 (‘IA 1986’) and Rules 6.14 and 15.8 of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 that the Director (the ‘convener’) is seeking a decision by way of a virtual meeting of the creditors of the above-named company.
This virtual meeting will be held on 12 December 2024 (the ‘Decision Date’) at 9.15 am by video conference platform. Details of how to attend the virtual meeting is included in the notice delivered to creditors. If any creditor has not received this notice or requires further information including how to attend, please contact Sarah Kowalczyk of Aurora Recovery using the contact details below.
The decisions being sought from creditors at the meeting will include considering resolutions for the appointment by creditors of a liquidator and a resolution specifying the terms on which the liquidator is to be remunerated. The meeting will receive information about, or be called upon to approve, the costs of preparing the statement of affairs and convening the meeting.
A meeting of shareholders has been called and will be held immediately prior to the virtual meeting of creditors to consider passing resolutions for the voluntary winding up of the company and appointment of the proposed liquidator, Michael Howorth.
A creditor is entitled to attend and/or vote at the virtual creditors meeting in person or by proxy. Creditors wishing to attend and/or vote at the meeting must lodge their proxy at Aurora Recovery, The Waterscape, 42 Leeds and Bradford Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS5 3EG or electronically at hello@aurorarecovery.co.uk prior to the meeting. A proof of debt (unless it has already been delivered) must also be lodged not later than 4.00pm on the business day prior to the date of the meeting at the aforementioned address (note if not received in time, vote by creditor will be disregarded).
Notice is further given that a list of the names and addresses of the company’s creditors may be inspected, free of charge, on the two business days prior to the virtual meeting at Aurora Recovery, The Waterscape, 42 Leeds and Bradford Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS5 3EG.
