Julie Anne Palmer (IP No008835) and Andrew Hook (IP No: 26150), whose contact address is 2nd floor, Endeavour House, 3 Meridians Cross, Ocean Way, Southampton, SO14 3TJ were appointed as Joint Liquidators of the Company on 09 July 2026.
Please note that further to requests from the Company’s creditors for a physical meeting having met one or more of the prescribed thresholds pursuant to Section 246ZE of the Insolvency Act 1986, a physical meeting of the Company’s creditors will be held at BTG Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP, 2nd floor, Endeavour House, 3 Meridians Cross, Ocean Way, Southampton, SO14 3TJ on 26 August 2026 at 11.00 am. Andrew Hook, in their capacity as Liquidator of the Company, is the convener of the meeting (“the Convener”).
The purpose of the meeting is seeking decisions from the Company's creditors and if the creditors think fit, to appoint a liquidation committee. The decisions being sought are as follow:
That Middleton Barton Asset Valuation Limited’s pre-appointment costs totalling £28,086.68, as detailed in the Creditor Information Pack dated 29 July 2026, be approved for payment as an expense of the liquidation; That Eddison Insurance Services’ pre-appointment costs totalling £1,413.84, as detailed in the Creditor Information Pack dated 29 July 2026, be approved for payment as an expense of the liquidation; That the Joint Liquidators’ remuneration be fixed by reference to the time properly given by them (as liquidators), and the various grades of their staff, calculated at the prevailing hourly rates in attending to matters arising in the winding up as set out in the fees estimate included in the Creditor Information Pack dated 29 July 2026, in the sum of £46,850 plus VAT; That the Joint Liquidators be authorised to draw expenses for services provided by their firm and/or entities within the Begbies Traynor group, in accordance with their firm’s policy, details of which are contained in the Creditor Information Pack dated 29 July 2026; Whether a creditors’ committee should be established if sufficient creditors are willing to be members of a committee and if so, who creditors’ wish to nominate for membership of the committee.
In the event that a committee is not formed, creditors will be asked to consider a decision in relation to the payment of the costs of assisting with preparation of the Company’s statement of affairs and seeking the creditors’ decision on the nomination of liquidators, as an expense of the liquidation.
Creditors attending the meeting in person or attending by proxy, (unless a committee is formed), will also be asked to consider approving the basis of the Joint Liquidators remuneration and whether they also approve the Joint Liquidators drawing their expenses, details of which have been provided in a report to creditors.
In order to be entitled to vote at the meeting (either in person or by proxy), creditors must have submitted a proof in respect of their claim (unless a proof has already been submitted) to the Convener via the contact details below, by no later than 4pm on 25 August 2026.
Any creditor entitled to attend and note at the meeting is entitled to do so either in person or by proxy. If you cannot attend and wish to be represented at the meeting, a completed proxy form must be delivered to the Convener via e-mail at Bethany.Oldham@btguk.com or by post to their correspondence address at BTG Begbies Traynor, 2nd floor, Endeavour House, 3 Meridians Cross, Ocean Way, Southampton, SO14 3TJ prior to the meeting.
