Pursuant to Rule 22.4 of the Rules, I give notice that I am acting and intend to continue to act in all or any of the ways specified in section 216(3) of the Act in connection with, or for the purposes of, carrying on the whole or substantially the whole of the business of the Company under the name Gower Production Limited, which would be a prohibited name if the Company entered insolvent liquidation.

Statement as to the effect of the notice pursuant to Rule 22.5
Section 216(3) of the Act lists the activities that a director of a company which has entered insolvent liquidation may not undertake unless the court gives permission or an exception applies under the Rules. These activities are:
(a) acting as a director of another company known by a name which is the same as, or sufficiently similar to suggest an association with, a name used by the insolvent company during the 12 months before liquidation;
(b) directly or indirectly being concerned or taking part in the promotion, formation or management of such a company; or
(c) directly or indirectly being concerned in carrying on a business otherwise than through a company under such a name.
This notice is given under Rule 22.4 of the Rules where the whole or substantially the whole of the business of a company which is, or may go, into insolvent liquidation is, or is to be, carried on by another person with the involvement of a director of that company under the same or a similar name.
The purpose of giving this notice is to permit the director to act in these circumstances where the company enters insolvent liquidation without committing a criminal offence or, where the business is carried on through another company, incurring personal liability for that company's debts.
Notice may also be given where the person is already a director of a company proposing to adopt a prohibited name.
