Relevant Funds Soft Bar Date Notice
Regulation 20 of The Payment and Electronic Money Institution Insolvency Regulations 2021 (“the Regulations”); Rule 110 of The Payment and Electronic Money Institution Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2021 (“the Rules”) - Notice to Customers
The Joint Special Administrators hereby give notice, in accordance with regulation 20 of the Regulations and rule 110 of the Rules as follows:
1. The Joint Special Administrators consider it necessary, in order to expedite the return of relevant funds to Customers, to set a soft bar date of 13 August 2026 (the Soft Bar Date), for the submission of relevant funds claims (a Relevant Funds Claim), as set out in Regulation 20(1) of the Regulations.
2. A Relevant Funds Claim:
a) is a claim that Customers may have in respect of funds that were received by Monevium for the execution of a payment transaction and which Monevium was required to safeguard pursuant to the Payment Services Regulations 2017 prior to the commencement of the special administration on 18 June 2026; and
b) does not relate to any other type of claim that you may have against Monevium (an Unsecured Claim).
Once the Bar Date has passed, and following court approval of a distribution plan, the Joint Special Administrators shall, in accordance with the time periods specified in the Regulations and the Rules, make a distribution (or distributions) from the relevant funds asset pool to the Company’s customers who have a Relevant Funds Claim that has been admitted by the Joint Special Administrators.

Regulations 20(5) to (10) of the Regulations and rule 115 of the Rules set out how Relevant Funds Claims received after the Bar Date shall be treated.
